Using ConnectOpenSource to respond to realtime SOAP 270 request?

Jeff Buhrt
Is it possible to use ConnectOpenSource to directly respond to an inbound X12_270_Request_005010X279A1 via realtime SOAP request? It seems the testcases look like a gateway vs being an endpoint responder.

Either I am using the wrong URL (which is why I get a not supported) or I am missing something.

For testing: Local Linux, MySQL, wildfly-8.2.1.Final

Thanks,

-Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Apologies on the delayed response.

I browsed through the CONNECT Open Source wiki and found some mention of X12 270 requests:

https://connectopensource.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CONNECTWIKI/pages/31031331/Auditing+requirements+for+X12

I'm not terribly familiar with X12, we deal more in the XCPD XCA DQ / DR arena, but these suggest to me that it's supported.

If it works anything like the XCPD/XCA DQ/DR architecture does (I'd be surprised if it's drastically different), the gateway would handle the "front door" for you and you'd need to develop adapters to handle the integration between the gateway and your lower-level systems (whatever the X12 equivalent of an MPI / EMR / CDR would be).

What URL/endpoint are you trying to hit specifically?
