NIST collaboration and testing CONNECT 4.7

m.mall@isharemedical.com
I am trying to follow the instructions at...

https://connectopensource.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CONNECT4/pages/83525714/NIST+collaboration+and+testing+CONNECT+4.7

It seems these instructions are outdated.  Some of the URLs are no longer good.  Can anyone direct me to updated instructions?

Some examples of URLs that no longer work are...

direct.connectopensource.org
http://transport-testing.nist.gov/ttt/pubcert/nist.gov.der

Thanks in advance.

Re: NIST collaboration and testing CONNECT 4.7

I went here https://ttpedge.sitenv.org/ttp/#/direct

It has an ETT Public Cert, which it says is the cert for signing Direct messages.  Is this the updated version of the "mail certifiate" described in the instructions that I previously could have found at direct.connectopensource.org?

The URL also has an ETT Trust Anchor.  Is this the updated version of the NIST trust anchor I could have previously found at "http://transport-testing.nist.gov/ttt/pubcert/nist.gov.der"?

I am also looking for the PopulateConfigDB-CERTS-anchors.sql file.  It wasn't included in the CONNECT with Direct 4.7 binaries that I downloaded.

Hi Michael, a couple things:

- The NIST test tool has been drastically updated since our 4.7 release. I believe at the time it was still called the Transport Test Tool (TTT) and is now the Edge Test Tool (ETT) so yes, the documentation will not be in synch with the newer tool
- Regarding the keytool export command you're trying, is there a certificate with alias gateway in your keystore?
